NTU-MUN was started in 2006 as an annual flagship event of the NTU Debating Society and has been an enormous success for the past 3 years. It strives to foster a constructive forum for open dialogue on global issues and is designed to acquaint its participants with the nations of the world community, their policies, and the problems that arise as these nations attempt to coexist. The nature of NTU MUN makes it very relevant to the student community, as they are the potential leaders of tomorrow and will be influenced by issues around them and the world at large. It provides an unparalleled opportunity for delegates to develop strong argumentative skills and a broad understanding of global issues and affairs.

The recently conducted NTU MUN 2008 has been the largest and most successful of its kind in Singapore so far, attracting over 250 participants from a broad spectrum of diverse backgrounds, from all over Singapore and the Asia Pacific Region.

NTU MUN 2009 promises to replicate last year's success and provide a great experience to its participants. We are looking for sponsors to help us make this event a huge success.
